TKP 2562 หรือ Thailand Knowledge Portal เป็น Applications ที่พัฒนาขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนการเข้าถึงช่องทางการเรียนรู้ ที่จะนำพาไปสู่หลักสูตรการศึกษาที่น่าสนใจต่างๆ รวมถึงข้อมูลระดับชุมชน ของทุกๆตำบล TKP ในปีแรก(2561) เริ่มดำเนินการสรรสร้างข้อมูลชุมชนที่หลากหลายของชุมชนโดยครู กศน. และหน่วยงานเครือข่าย ในแต่ละพื้นที่ พัฒนาข้อมูลเหล่านั้นให้เป็นการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัย นอกจากนี้ในปี2562 ได้นำหลักการ TKP พัฒนาไปสู่การศึกษารูปแบบอื่นๆ มีทั้งหลักสูตรขนาดใหญ่ประเภทหลักสูตรต่อเนื่อง และหลักสูตรการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน

◆ การศึกษาในยุคนี้ จึงเป็นการศึกษาแห่งการสร้างองค์ความรู้ใหม่ เป็นการสร้างความรู้ร่วมกันระหว่างครูกับผู้เรียน ระหว่างผู้เรียนด้วยกัน ดังนั้นการสร้างความรู้ใหม่ต้องพึ่งพาความรู้เดิม ทฤษฎีเก่า ที่มีอยู่มากมาย ผ่านกลไกทางเทคโนโลยีเครือข่าย ผ่านคอมพิวเตอร์และอุปกรณ์เคลื่อนที่ ผนวกรวมความคิดสร้างสรร บนโปรแกรมหรือ Application ที่หลากหลาย

◆ ทุกพื้นที่ของประเทศไทย มีเรื่องราว มีสาระเนื้อหาที่หลากหลาย มีคุณค่าต่อการเรียนรู้ ที่สำคัญบุคคลากรในองค์กรการศึกษา เป็นผู้ใฝ่เรียนรู้ เป็นนักถ่ายทอด มีความพร้อม ที่จะเป็นจุดเริ่มต้น ต่อการสร้างสรรแหล่งเรียนรู้ และแหล่งข้อมูลคุณภาพ บนโลกออนไลน์

◆ ผลจากการศึกษาและดำเนินการพัฒนาด้านการจัดการศึกษาออนไลน์ มาโดยตลอด พบว่า Application ของ Google มีความหลากหลาย ยืดหยุ่นต่อการพัฒนาการนำข้อมูลจากพื้นที่นำมาสร้างเป็นหน้าเอกสารเว็บ อาทิ Blogger และ New Google Sites แต่เนื่องจากการทำหน้าเอกสารข้อมูล ไม่ต้องการองค์ประกอบหรือเทคนิคที่ซับซ้อนที่ Blogger มีให้ใช้งาน อีกทั้ง New Google Sites เป็น Application ที่ใช้งานง่าย สะดวก รวดเร็ว ไม่ยุ่งยาก ที่สำคัญการนำไปสู่กลไกการสร้าง การบริหารหน้าข้อมูลในอนาคต ทำได้ง่าย จึงเลือกใช้ New Google Sites มาเป็น Based ในการพัฒนา

◆ในปี 2561 ที่ผ่านมา โครงการ TKP ได้ดำเนินไปแล้วหลายจังหวัด อาทิ สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดน่าน, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด, สถาบัน กศน.ภาคใต้ สงขลา, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดลำปาง, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดยะลา, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดสิงห์บุรี, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดอุดรธานี สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดลำพูน และกลุ่มศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการศึกษา 20 แห่งทั่วประเทศ

◆ในปี 2562 โครงการ TKP ยังดำเนินการต่ออีกหลายจังหวัด หลายหน่วยงาน ได้แก่ สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดระยอง, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดสตูล, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดแพร่, สำนักงาน กศน.จังหวัดเชียงใหม่, กลุ่มศูนย์ฝึกและพัฒนาอาชีพราษฎรบริเวณชายแดน 10 กว่าแห่งทั่วประเทศ, ศูนย์การศึกษานอกโรงเรียนกาญจนาภิเษก และอีกหลายหน่วยงาน

◆ ผลจากการพัฒนาที่ผ่านมา กลุ่มข้อมูลต้นแบบทั้ง 5 กลุ่ม ได้ถูกพัฒนาเพิ่มเติมอย่างต่อเนื่อง ปัจจุบัน (มิถุนายน 2562) มีเนื้อหาข้อมูลชุมชนรวมกัน มากกว่า 3000 เรื่องราว ใน 14 กลุ่มเนื้อหา อนาคตทุกหน่วยงานต้องมีคณะทำงานในการตรวจสอบรายละเอียด สาระเนื้อหาตามที่ได้ออกแบบและกำหนดไว้ (ถือเป็นอีกขั้นตอนสำคัญในการรับรองมาตรฐานของข้อมูลขั้นต้น) นอกจากนี้ คณะทำงานต้องนำกลุ่มเนื้อหานี้ มาออกแบบวิธีการบริหารเพื่อการเข้าถึงระบบในการจัดเก็บ การจัดกลุ่ม(หมวดหมู่) ทั้งในระดับอำเภอ ระดับจังหวัด และระดับประเทศ เพื่อสะดวกในการจัดเก็บข้อมูล การเผยแพร่ และการนำไปใช้งานในอนาคต
